Andy took a day off in Clarkston while Damian and Brendan enjoyed riding the Old Spiral Rd, Winchester Grades, and old White Bird Grades.
Heading east again we rode over Lolo Pass into Montana where we turned north to stay the night in a cabin near Columbia Falls.
An early start allowed us to enter Glacier Park without the vehicle permit required to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road. We stopped for breakfast at the historic Lake McDonald Lodge before continuing. It was a perfect day to ride the Going-to-the-Sun Road over Logan Pass. Blue skies with brilliant sunshine but a few low clouds on the mountains. While there was traffic, it flowed well allowing us to enjoy the road. From St.Mary’s we continued north to cross the border into Canada at Chief Mountain. We stayed the night in Waterton, Alberta.
